Facebook Win a Free Conveyance                        Terms and Conditions

1.The promoter of this competition is KM Law Limited trading as Kirsten Murfitt Law (“KML”). By entering this competition you are deemed to accepted these terms and conditions.

2.The competition is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook. By entering this competition, you release Facebook from any and all liability associated with this competition.

3. KML is offering you the chance to win a conveyancing package on the sale or purchase of a residential home or apartment located in New Zealand as set out in these terms and conditions. If you live outside Tauranga client meetings will be conducted by way of Skype. For the avoidance of any doubt, the conveyance must be completed by KML and settlement must occur before 1 July 2017. The prize cannot be redeemed  for cash or other legal services. The prize cannot be transferred to another person(s) or entity without the prior written permission of KML. 

4.The conveyancing package includes our standard legal fees for a relatively straight forward conveyance. If you are purchasing or selling a `land and build’ package or selling under a mortgagee sale you may apply the value of the prize (based on our standard fees as published on our website as at the close date of the competition) towards the transaction and pay the balance to us.  The prize does not include the legal fees if a dispute arises in relation to the sale or purchase of the residential home or apartment.

5.The conveyancing package includes the fees, disbursements and GST as set out in these terms and conditions. Sale of Residential Home: the standard legal fees, title search, and Land Information New Zealand’s (“LINZ”) standard fee for the discharge of mortgage fee and GST; or for the Purchase of a Residential Home: the standard legal fees, title search, guaranteed title search, PPSR searches, post registration title search, up to 3 instrument searches and review, LINZ’s standard fee for the transfer and mortgage (if any) and GST.

6.The competition will run from 3.30pm Monday, 6 November 2016  through to 6.30pm on  Wednesday, 30 November 2016. 

7.To enter this competition entrants need to:  (a) Be 18 years old or over (evidence of age may be required); (b) Be New Zealand residents and living in New Zealand (evidence may be required); and (c) Have ‘liked’ the Kirsten Murfitt Law page and `sharing’ the Kirsten Murfitt Law Competition Post page on or before 4.30pm on Wednesday, 30 November 2016.

8. KML reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether a prize winner has met the qualifying criteria outlined in paragraph 7 above. 

9.There is only one conveyancing package to be won as part of this competition. 

10.The prize winner will be randomly drawn at 6.30pm Monday 21 November 2016. The prize winner will be announced on the Kirsten Murfitt Law Facebook page and KML will contact the winner by way of private message on Facebook. If KML is unable to contact the winner due to the winner’s privacy settings KML may in, its sole discretion, declare the entrant to be ineligible for any prize winnings and redraw that prize as soon as practicable.

11.The prize winner agrees that KML may publish their name for the purposes of announcing the winner of the competition.

12. KML shall not be held liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the receipt of, or use of the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 

13.All decisions of KML in relation to this competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into. 

14. KML reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions at any time.
